To send or receive calls and texts within MarketPulse, you must first provision a dedicated phone number. These numbers are billed on a recurring monthly basis.
Note: Toll-free numbers do not require A2P 10DLC registration, but local 10-digit numbers do to remain deliverable.
Unlike traditional carriers that offer "unlimited" plans, MarketPulse uses a pay-as-you-go model. You are only billed for the exact volume you consume.

Carrier Surcharges
Mobile carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) apply their own pass-through fees for every message sent over their networks. These are added to the base MarketPulse rate.
A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person 10-digit long code) is a mandatory registration system required by US carriers. Without this registration, your high-volume SMS traffic will be blocked or heavily throttled.
These fees cover the submission of your business brand and your specific messaging campaigns to The Campaign Registry (TCR).
Since SMS has a 98% open rate compared to 20-25% for email, it is a highly effective tool, but it must be used efficiently.
